The deal with the censored/blackened freshly pressed sites I get. Anti- SOPA & PIPA, and I am on board. I do not believe that this is the way to deal with Internet piracy.

Obviously, I’ve had NOTHING on my plate recently, so have no excuse not to be up on current events (where is that sarcasm font when you need it?), but let’s just put it out there that censorship MUST not be tolerated.  I mean, c’mon. You go and get our government all involved, and things are going to get screwed up.  It’s not like that is news, right?  There have got to be better ways to fight Internet piracy.  Look, I’m an artist. I have my photos all over the web. I would PREFER that people purchase them (what paid artist wouldn’t?), but to black out an entire site because someone grabbed and pasted it from my site? That’s just a little over the top, don’t you think?

My hero, Jenny, The Bloggess, shared a link to a video that you all really need to see.  (Which is why I linked to it, because everyone needs to see what this would mean for the Internet as we know it.)

Can’t turn off my blog, don’t know how to do it, but wanted to show support nonetheless.
