I never, in a million years, would have thought that I would be blogging about others’ blogs, yet here I am raving about two more that I love:

Katie Sluiter at Sluiter Nation – Katie is a real world mom; she’s a teacher and expecting her second son any minute now. Her observations on life are grounding and very realistic, and she makes me proud to be a regular (if not fashion challenged – my thing, not her’s) kind of girl.

Katie introduced me to Nicci A, at Changing the Universe, and Nicci (whom I have been following recently on Twitter), is an amazing seamstress and does the most cool coasters and throw pillow covers I’ve ever seen!  Her blog shouldn’t be missed, either. I just ordered these:

See, I entered the contest on Katie’s blog, but I didn’t win, but I loved the coasters, so I ordered them because I thought they would really rock my studio.

That said, I hope that you will all visit Katie & Nicci.  I have been following both on Twitter (and I can be followed there, as well, as juliesmusings), and hope you will join me in enjoying both of their blogs and tweets!

So see? Not only is blogging an exceptional way to vent and share your life with people that either truly do or pretend to be interested, it’s also a pretty cool way to meet new people with like minds and interests. (Ask me about the Bloggess…I freaking DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU!!!!)  (just sayin…)
