Well, Oh, Mah, Gawd!!!! Can I just say that? Holy crap, Batman!
What a week, but OMG, am I feeling better or what? 🙂
So, the day job has been a tad dramatic this week.
As much as I would love to go into details? I can’t. At least right now. Let’s just say people are not who they say they are…
And if you are reading this, Sgt? I suspect (as should you) that this may very well be about you and the ready-to-mail envelope that created a boat load of drama in my office in my absence.
I hope all this drama was worth it to you? Whose side are you on, anyway? Corporate America…Can’t live with it…Can’t blow it up with ridiculous explosives, unless, of course, you LOOK FORWARD to that prison term, which I do not. I don’t think they will let me have a damned camera in there… but whatever…
Because, you know…I was hanging out at a fundraiser for the Relay for Life…aka the American Cancer Society. It’s (next to busting up domestic violence) my pet cause. Both of my parents are survivors; Mom kicked breast cancer’s ass not once, but TWICE, and my dad kicked the *ahem* colon of Colon cancer. (Go Mom, Go Dad!!!! Whoohooo!!!!!) One of my dearest friends has also kicked Cancer’s ass, and I am so happy that he did. 🙂
Ok, onto bigger and better things…After I signed up for my online gym at Youble.com, and they freaking shut down before 5 days of my 14 day trial took effect…I was like, “Awww, hell….Back to the drawing board…” You give me a simple solution and then immediately take it away? I’m all over Google like stink on a dog turd to find similar results. Do you people have any idea what kind of monster you have created???? Does anyone know about FitnessGlo? (http://www.fitnessglo.com) It looks like something I might be able to get into. If anyone (and I’m asking for reader input and exchange, here, people…) knows of a good online video workout program, can y’all please clue me the hell in, already????
So, I quit one of my jobs this week. My Mary Kay gig is up, and the jig is over. If anyone wants to purchase anything left over in my inventory, AT COST, email me at julie@wall2wallphotos.com and put MK Blowout in your subject line and I will happily let you know what’s left. I just couldn’t take it. I am not normally a quitter, but if y’all know anything about me? I’m a family girl and a photographer first and foremost, so I could not turn down a gig with a local media outlet, and I knew that was going to create havoc, and honestly? I was starting to worry about me stroking out.

That’d be Melodie from Creative Lens Art by Melodie on the right and me, the ringleader from Wall 2 Wall Photography. 🙂
Ok. Next topic…The WMH Relay for Life Team Silent Arts and Crafts Auction. I had a minimum goal of $100 set for this bad boy, but we ended up bringing in over $300, which doesn’t hold a candle to what we did in 07/08, but then the economy wasn’t sucking THIS hard back then, either.
We (Melodie & I) had a really good time today helping raise money for the ACS.
I want to thank Skwarl (you know…”There’s a Squirrel in my Blog”), Bonita Jenkins, Malinda Quinn, Lisa Mitchell, Carolyn Fiedler, Patricia Martin, and Melodie (aka Elaine Estes), Eric Schreffler, ShagDaddy’s DJ Service, and Dang…I know I’m forgetting someone and I totally apologize…I know our Volunteer, Barbara, did an amazing framed acrylic painting, as well. I think I’ve got all of us acknowledged. 🙂
We, at Wall 2 Wall, are heading out to hit up the Malpass Brothers tomorrow morning/afternoon at the Pig in the Park Festival.
Until Next Time….
Pssst, Son, those are YOUR images int the montage, LOL…We have yet another killer week coming up starting tomorrow. 🙂
Very nice week. Looks like an interesting week is wrapped up and ready to be left behind. I like the montage you have created. The picture of you and Melodie is very professional. Congratulations on your accomplishment of over $300 raised.
you guys did a FANTASTIC job! so proud of you, Jules!
Skwarl, you know you helped. 🙂 thank you SO much! xoxo!!!
welcome, babe
