So, I have this wisdom tooth coming out tomorrow, and I have been uber mellow about the whole damned situation, you know…until now. It’s after six p.m. here on the east coast, so I can’t exactly call and cancel, so I figure now would be a good time to visit the awards I’ve received this week. Because keeping your mind off of an inevitable fear can only be good for all of us…
Lydia Devadson put me up for the “Wonderful Team Member Readership Award,”ย a special award given by bloggers to thank people who take the time to read their blog and look at their posts. Lydia’s blog, An Idiot’s Guide to Parenting, is one of my personal favorites, because even though my baby boy graduated high school last year, I still remember and relate to the issues and foibles Lydia encounters daily. ๐ Thank you, Lydia! ๐ I enjoy your blog immensely!ย
In accepting this award, I am required to do the following (note that there are no lengthy writing requirements for this oneย ๐ย ):
- Display the award.
- Thank the person who nominated me on their blog.
- Nominate 14 blogs who are readers of my blog.
- Let the nominees know.
Seems easy enough…I can do this… So here are my fourteen:
- Kristen at Stamped With a Heart.
- Rob over at Weight2Lose2013.
- Janey at Cupid or Cats.
- Robin over there at Witless Dating After Fifty.
- Elaine at Joyful2Bee.
- Squirrel at There’s a Squirrel in My Blog.
- Linda at LindaPano.com.
- Whitney Duprey at Well, That Happened.
- Liz at U2RLoved.
- Roger at rmactsc.
- Lisa at Lisa Macy Coaching.
- I Prefer Deep Blues and Seafoam Greens.
- Kate at Run with Pup.
- Caitlin at Fit And Feminist.
I also want to give a shout out to Rob over there at Weight2Lose2013 for putting me out there for another Liebster. I thank you wholeheartedly, but my nominees are repeated multiple times and/or have more than a couple hundred followers…but, again? I thank you a lot! ๐ Okay, and nobody wants to know that much about me…Unless it’s dental related, ha ha…

It’s official. I now have carpal tunnel. lol Thank you Julie!
Friends don’t let friends NOT get carpal. Did that make ANY sense? Bahahahahah!
lol! I learn slowly. ๐
I nominated you for a Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. I know these awards are time consuming, but I wanted to know that I think your blog is awesome ๐ Here’s the link if you want to check it out

Thank you, Janey! I promise I will get to this over the weekend. ๐
I hope by now, you are pleasantly ‘numb!’ Thanks so very much for the awesome nomination, Julie! I plan on blogging on Saturday with the award ceremony of accepting my wonderful nomination! I hope to check out some of your suggestions of posts to read! I appreciate your great comments and do feel you are a ‘cool’ fellow blogger. I hope some of your ‘cool’ rubs off on me! This is all in reference to my post about “Opinions!” Which we were both lucky to have open-minded parents and we became better examples of them, too, I feel. Listening isn’t hard, people just need to do more of it to build good family relationships on those touchy subjects. Enough babbling, I do enough over on my posts! Lol, Robin
Hi, Robin! //waves enthusiastically//
I was pretty out of it last night, so I didn’t even check mail, and am doing narcotics this evening, so nit sure how much sense this is going to make. Am hoping to post later this evening because ducks were in the parking lot, I now own seeds for the garden, and has been a most bizarre couple of days… I’m ok…sore, like someone cold cocked me, but not awful tonight. ๐ I need to catch up on my reading! Lots of hugs!!!
Looks like today is the day for your appointment! I’m sure it’ll all be fine! ๐ I’ll be thinking of you and sending calm and soothing thoughts. ๐ xoxo
Lisa! ๐
I lived. Pretty out of it last night and basically got home, crawled into bed early afternoon and pretty much stayed there. Hoping to get my head straight enough to post. Lol!
How are you doing?
X’s and o’s!
Hi Jules!
Yea! It’s over! I remember when I had mine done. Not a fun process that’s for sure. And at least they got you looped enough to not feel it! ๐
I’m feeling pretty good. A bit better each day, just helpless since I can’t do anything. Makes for a rather boring day. lol
xoxo
Oh, I’m sure! My husband has had four on his cervical spine. The first three were outpatient, but the last one kept him pretty much in bed for a while and it drove him nuts! Glad you are feeling better each day! ๐
Good luck! I had to have all four of mine out at the same time, and I survived. I don’t know if it helps or not, but the time in the chair is the easy part. It’s a little gross afterwards… You’ll be fine. Lots of pudding, ice cream and Popsicles! If it makes you feel any better, I just found out I need surgery to repair a receding gumline that cropped up when I was pregnant :S
Ack! Four at once? That sounds awful! I love the whole pudding, ice cream, and Popsicles concept, tho. That might make it all worthwhile. Ok, that, and the snaggle tooth will finally be gone. ๐
it will be fine. Good drugs and you will wake up…and get MORE good drugs. Have ice cream on hand. Believe me.It helps. Hairy Peeter makes a really good NO SUGAR ADDED mint chocolate chip that is green specky orgasm…Muy Tasteeeee
Mint chocolate chip is only my favorite flavor! I am mildly freaking out over here.
when is yr appt babe?
Mine is tomorrow morning at 10:30….It’s too late to cancel. But I have valium. Oh, GAWWWD, Skwarl….*sob*
