In the past week or so, I’ve been given a couple more awards and have just been kind of sidetracked with everything going on around here, so I am finally sitting down to get these acknowledged.

Now I get to answer the following questions:
- Why did you start your blog?
A few years ago I was blogging furiously on my photo-blog to sort of try to promote my business. Because it was for business, I found myself really filtered, so I thought it might be fun to do a “because I can say what I want” blog, Random Musings From A Type-A Workaholic was born. - What is your favorite movie – ever?
Would you think I was lying if I were to say that I don’t actually have one? I have a few favorites, in no particular order, however: Romeo & Juliet (the original from what? 1969?), The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Titanic, and The Notebook are the handful that I can watch over and over again. - Do you get tired of bloggin?
Nope, not really. I enjoy it quite a lot, and now that I’ve resurrected my photo blog, I feel like I’m constantly trying to stay up-to-date on both, but I don’t get tired of it. Writing and photography are my two creative outlets and really help me center myself. - Where do you want your blog to take you to?
Oz? Seriously, I didn’t originally have an ulterior motive when I started Musings, but the more I put into it, the more I think I would like to compile a book from it just for laughs. The Bloggess and Snarky In The Suburbs have both made that transition, and I could live with that. - What type of blogs do you find interesting?
I am really into humorous OR fitness-related OR nutrition types of blogs. Do you know what kind of a find it is to find one all wrapped up in one package? - What is your favorite song TODAY?
Magic by Coldplay. - If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Somewhere on a beach, as long as it’s hot and tropical. The hubs and I are really eyeballing Belize as a retirement option. - What is your favorite creative outlet?
It’s a toss up between writing and photography. I have the opportunity to write more often, however. - Least favorite part of your day?
You know that time when it’s too late to hit the snooze button again? That. - What is your favorite article of clothing?
My flip-flops. Hands (or is it feet?) down…
I know I am supposed to put out a list of nominees at this point, but I want to say that the Sunshine Award was also part of the Award Foursome from some weeks back and I don’t want to hit the same people again. Besides, I also have another award (below) that asks that I nominate fourteen other bloggers, and I don’t want to hit everyone twice in a day. 😉 I know, I am a bit lazy, but as y’all are seeing, I’m doing well to keep up with the regular stuff, and hitting 14 bloggers twice for two separate awards… *whew* You know, unless you WANT to do both of them…So to my fourteen listed below under the Sisterhood award? Y’all can absolutely do this one, as well, and simply use the same questions that were given to me. 🙂 Because I don’t want to be “that blogger” that stopped the train, LOL….

But being relatively new, I’m a little confused. What exactly do I have to do now, and when do I find out who the winner of either award is? I can’t wait to put a medallion onto my blog page.
It’s pretty simple…I just right click and save the award images, post them in the blog posts acknowledging the award, and presto, that is it. I think the word “nomination” is a little misleading…as it implies a choice will be made, but it’s more like a recognition among fellow bloggers. 🙂 So you win! I love them because I have found some of my best blogging friends through the “nomination” lists on other blogs. It’s a neat and fun (though sometimes time consuming) way to promote all the blogs. 🙂
