I talked to my mom, who so graciously gifted me a “Sweet Betsy” and a couple of ferns while we were helping her mulch the front yard a couple of weeks ago.
I was telling her how the yard was coming along earlier tonight and I’d taken some pictures last night, and wanted to share them with her and the rest of you, who are still hanging in there with me during this backyard overhaul….

A two person hammock is in the process of being shipped, and will land between the lupine/cast iron plant/dahlia bed and the nandinas….
Did I ever mention that there WILL be a hammock?
Yeah, that’s going to be mine…Oh, yes! That will be mine! (Is that an inadvertent Wayne’s World reference? Quite possibly…)
