The Holiday That Shall Not Be Named: 2017 Edition

My Candy Hearts

Gonna give it a go, this year…Send prayers. 😉

As my long-time and loyal readers know, V-Day at our house is kind of cursed. I’m not even going to link to the history of out past Valentine’s Day mishaps, because maybe I can un-do the curse that has made itself at home in our home for the past decade or more.

We are EASING into this lovers’ holiday kind of slowly.

Tomorrow night’s festivities will be low-key at best. We are having grilled steak, baked potato and salad by candle-light. After that, there should be some slow dancing (in flats, because heels are trying to kill me) and maybe even a bubble bath.

I am currently wondering if the Materials Management department has enough bubble wrap going to the trash to cover the two of us.

Knock on wood, neither of us are sick or injured, so maybe, just maybe, we can pull this VD off.

Wish us luck!

Until next time…
