Update: Doc Appt. & Cool Sh*t :)

So I posted about my “to the moon” blood pressure and my crazy liver enzymes.

Let me take a few to catch you all up.

But before I do, I have to admit defeat. I swore I would have the crazy neighbors out by Labor Day. Whoops…Didn’t happen…But my neighbor across the street called said freak’s first sergeant and gave him all grades of holy hell. I wish I had her balls. 🙂 Then she contacted the builder, who owns the property. Should play out well…

So between doctor’s appointments, I was fortunate enough to go help my friend Skwarl clean and stage her parents’ condo down at Cherry Grove Beach, SC. It was a working trip, because I was the photographer. 🙂 Yay, me! We had a BLAST!

I arrived on Wednesday afternoon, and we cleaned and boxed stuff up. Then went to the new house to check it out. It is three blocks from the beach. Just shoot me. I was in heaven. I love South Carolina. I love the cost of properties, I love the low price of gas, and I love the economy there. I do not, however, love the gargantuan spiders, snakes and lizards. *shudder*

Once we got everything done, we went shopping. Retail therapy is the shit, y’all…Just saying. We went to Broadway on the Beach and Barefoot Landing. We ate, we drank, we were way too merry. Life was good.

Did I mention we ate. A lot. We hit Steven’s for dinner on Thursday night. Best seafood I’ve had in forever….And I ate till I couldn’t eat any more. 🙂 Friday we hit a strip mall for Mexican and it was SOOOOO good. I brought Seafood Fajitas home in a cooler the next day.

We walked the pier under the full moon on August 31, which was a blue moon, so that made everything even more special.

The following day we went to se the realtor, talked about putting the condo on the market, then hit our respective cars and headed back up north. And back inland. *sigh* 😦

I got home Saturday afternoon, just in time for the Labor Day weekend.

After a dinner date with the hubs, and an afternoon by the pool, we spent Labor day hooking up my new Zen/Meditation room. Since Peri moved out, and we had all this space, we decided it would be great for me to just have a space, so a space we created.

This room is amazing. It’s painted just how I wanted. I have rice paper blinds, a hammock swing, a cool scroll, my wireless speakers, and a pillow corner, as well as plants and a place to burn my candles and incense. It is totally a ZEN place!

So once that was done, I went to the liver specialist the following Friday. Cool doctor, this guy. He ordered some more blood work and I went and had that done this past Monday. He didn’t seem overly concerned, so I went and gave up the blood happily, and followed up on Wednesday. I have to tell you….I have never been so happy to hear that I am overweight in my entire life. All I have to do is watch my diet and exercise to get some of this excess weight off. Yay!

I don’t have to give up the wine, so that’s a good thing. (Otherwise I’d be lobbying for the legalization of marijuana, LOL….)

So that’s kind of where we are right now.

Until next time…
