What’s not to love? 😉

A new friend of mine is a teacher as well as a terrific blogger. She gave her students an assignment to say something positive about the person next to them. She posted the following on her blog:

“It got me thinking of the warm feeling we get when we receive compliments (or have food poisoning, but whatever). And then I thought of WordPress awards and how good they make us all feel. But instead of giving an award (which are WONDERFUL, but they are time consuming), I thought that it would be a good idea to do the following:

Mention two bloggers whose blogs you love to read and say something positive about each. This way, you are hopefully bringing a smile to someone’s face.”

She discussed her bloggers of choice and went on to say this:

“In the comments section below, I would be DELIGHTED if you could mention two bloggers you just adore and say something positive about them. Not only will it cheer them up, it will also hopefully introduce us all to new bloggers. What is there to lose?”

So, I am asking you, dear readers, to please do the same in the comments box below. Should you be inspired enough to re-post similar on your blog, I’ll bet the original author (Janey 😉 ) would be flattered.

My first blogger is none other than Janey at Cupid or Cats.  And no, I’m not giving her a shout out because she gave me one. Nope… Every now and again you stumble upon a blog that is fun to read, and then you start to get to know the author beyond just the “nice post/thank you” exchanges. Apparently, she and I have quite a lot in common (including our curiosity about the drinking habits of others, ha ha ha), a very similar sense of humor, and the ability to try to make the best out of what would take other people out at the knees. It is rare that I find a blog and start ALLLLL the way from the beginning and read and read until I am caught up. Janey’s blog is THAT blog, people!

The second one is also a new blog find/friend. I stumbled upon him after he liked one of my posts and I ended up reading much of his blog, as well. We both have weight loss/fitness and healthy eating bits on both of our blogs, but he has a killer recipe section, as well as gardening tips. He is one easy-to-read/easy-to-talk-to dude…so without further ado, I give you Rob, from Weight2Lose2013.

So I have introduced you to two of my favorite blogs/bloggers, and hope that you will do the same for me. Honestly, I have “met” so many neat people while exploring the blogosphere, and am hoping that this blog will allow you to do the same!
